You’ve arrived in Coventry. What’s next?

So you’ve already gone through all of your stuff and decided what to take with you to Coventry University and what to leave at home, you’ve packed everything and have now unpacked it in your new home in Coventry. So, what happens next?!

Enrolment

All Coventry University students need to enrol onto their course. It is during this process that you will receive a username and email address – you will find that most of your course-related questions will be answered once you’ve checked your emails! Home/EU students can do their enrolment online, while international students need to come to the Student Centre. International students are also required to bring certain documents to enrol so make sure you have all them with you. If you’re not sure what you need to bring with you, you can check here.

ID card collection

Once you’ve finished your enrolment, you can collect your ID card from the Student Centre. You will need to bring some photo identification with you.

Timetable

By now you should have had an email with your timetable on your newly set up university account. In case you haven’t received, you can always go to your faculty and ask.

Induction/Fresher’s Fair
This is where you can find out everything about the social life in Coventry. You can now sign up for sports clubs and societies and get to know Coventry University a lot more!

Shopping

Coventry is great for shopping as it has everything you need right in the town centre. There are plenty of nationality based food shops, hypermarkets, the award winning market and well known high street brands.

Now that you’re settled in your new home and you’re accustomed with the town, all you need to do is have a good time and make the most out of your university years. Best of luck!
