INTIME will be opening submissions for their annual symposium shortly.
Coventry University’s Katye Coe will be performing at the what_now festival in April 2013.
INTIME is an applied research group within Performing Arts at Coventry University, that brings together creative musicians and academics who are interested in interrogating the experimental in music. INTIME convenes an annual Symposium on experimental music, organises concerts, music competitions, CD recordings and supports the music research activities within the School of Art and Design.
On 28th February 2013, C-DaRE hosted a Salon with Struan Leslie – Head of Movement at The Royal Shakespeare Company. The Institute of Creative Enterprise opened it’s doors and invited dancers to take part in a workshop and discussion around Leslie’s practice which identifies and harnesses the energetic reading and embodiment of space, text and impulse.
On 20th February 2013, Coventry University based Centre for Dance Research (C-DaRE) hosted the ‘Shifting Balances Symposium’, a day event which saw a wide range of speakers from all over the world. The symposium was organised and hosted by Dr Margaret Wilson of Wyoming University.
Our staff actively engage in research in Dance, Design and Ergonomics, Music Experimentation, Open Media, Product and Automotive Design and Visual Arts.
