Innovation in Sexual Health Event 2013

On 12th February 2013, the Studies in Adolescent Sexual Health (SASH) research group hosted a free event which was themed ‘Innovation in Sexual Health’. Based at the techno centre with in Coventry University, They had several interesting and relevant speakers come forward with thought-provoking  presentations and workshops across the day, exploring  new and imaginative ideas for engaging and educating young people in a sensitive and sometimes awkward subject.

The response has been a positive one from all professionals who were approached and are in support of sharing knowledge and ideas regarding innovative approaches to improving the sexual health of young people with fellow professionals who are practicing in this area.

Feedback from the event shows that 89% of the delegates asked, gave a rating of the event as excellent or very good, with many saying Roger Ingham’s talk in particular was ‘inspirational’, and other quoting ‘i learnt a lot from the speaker who talked about pornography’
