Staff from the Centre for Trust, Peace and Social Relations recently visited Athens for the European Group on Organizational Studies (EGOS) conference.
Dr. Rose Narooz and Dr. Ann-Marie Nienaber’s paper, co-authored by Dr. Randy Shaoi (Stockholm University), entitled “The spill over role of trust in the relationship between MNCs and institutional intermediaries in heavily constrained markets: The case of Swedish MNCs in Iran” was selected by the Track Conveners as Best Paper.
The Paper from Track 2, Trust in Challenging Contexts, will now go forward for consideration for best overall paper, which comes with a free conference place for next year and a prize. Other trust team members, Prof. Rosalind Searle and Dr. Charis Rice, with co-authors Jo Silvester and Nikoletta Giatras (City University) also had a well received paper on “Trust and volunteers: The role of organisational policies and practices in enhancing trust for and in volunteers delivering mental health befriending services.”
