Coventry University has retained its top 50 spot in The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2017 published this weekend.
The guide, published in full on Sunday, once again features the university in 47th place and it ranks third in the teaching excellence category in England and Wales.
The latest rankings come just a couple of weeks after Coventry’s double award nomination ‘Entrepreneurial University of the Year’ and ‘International Collaboration of the Year’ accolades in the annual Times Higher Education Awards.
This week the University also entered The Times Higher Education World Rankings for the first time.
Vice-Chancellor Professor John Latham said:
We’ve had an unprecedented run of success in recent years and the sector has continued to grow with us.
Over the last 18 months we’ve had an ambitious programme of expansion, with the opening of CU Scarborough and CU London joining Coventry University London and our base in Coventry as a place for individuals of all ages and abilities to learn and achieve their potential.
While we can be proud of our position in UK higher education, we will continue to work to enhance our student offer, provide research with impact and be even more innovative.
