BA English Language and TEFL study trip to the British Museum in London
Near to the start of the academic year, the BA English Language and TEFL team like to take the new first year students off campus as an introduction to Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) in the ‘real world’. This trip acts as both a great group bonding activity as well as showcasing what a career in TEFL could look like.
This year the students and staff visited the British Museum in London and were treated to a private ESOL workshop and tour, which provided an insight in to how museums can be used to teach English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL).
