  • Paris Kicks Butt!

ParisFor years the city of eternal romance has tried to clean up its act, quite literally. Cigarette butts have been a familiar sight on the capitals’ pavements so a new fine of 68 euros has been introduced for anyone caught disposing of their butts in this manner!. Those of you who partake of the dreaded weed and are lucky enough to visit Paris have been duly warned.

  • Welcome, to Coventry University’s new Law School blog.

The contributors here at Coventry hope to inform, entertain and hopefully inspire you with our collection of news, stories, updates, reviews, views and even funny legal asides (yes there are some!). We hope you enjoy roaming around the blog and telling your friends what you have learned about our wanderings through legal wonders past and present from all over the planet. You will even find some politics here, because for better or worse, politics and law go hand in hand and many eminent politicians have also been lawyers. We’ll profile some of them over the next few months but we’ll also show you the power of the individual whose acts or words of courage managed to change our world – sometimes a little bit, sometimes a lot.

We are also going to test your knowledge with legal and general knowledge quizzes and we are going to challenge you to submit contributions to our blog so you will have some research to do!

Suggestions and comments will be appreciatively received.

    So for now

    Bienvenue, Wilkommen……
