INTIME ThumbnailINTIME will be opening submissions for their annual symposium shortly.

The Interrogations into Music Experimentation (INTIME) research group will be holding their 3rd annual symposium in October this year. The symposium is a two-day programme of papers and performances hosted by the research group at Coventry University.

The focus of INTIME 2013 is technological development that aids, initialises and challenges the creative and performative within a range of experimental musics. Seeking to discuss and theorise current practice in experimental music. It aims to deepen our understandings of existing and emerging repertoires and practices. Welcoming abstracts from researchers and practitioners for papers in fields such as, music composition, music performance, musicology, music history, music analysis and theory, ethnomusicology, musicology, the philosophy of music and music education.

Themes for INTIME 2013 will include adaptive/assistive technologies and digital/analogue augmentation of (non) musical instruments in the performance and creation of new music.
