Discover the award-winning TRADEIT Project

As reported recently, TRADEIT, a project within the International Centre for Transformational Entrepreneurship (ICTE), is to receive a Commbebiz Award at the EBN Congress in September. Commbebiz is a Europe-wide organisation dedicated to providing links between bioeconomy research and business.

tradeit-logoTRADEIT is an enterprise that aims to support traditional food producers by addressing barriers to growth and increasing competitiveness by introducing them to new knowledge, innovation and research. This supports growth, based on their resources and capabilities and encourages heterogeneity in the sector. Commbebiz have commended TRADEIT for their work in technology transfers as part of the electronic marketplace.

UK Project Manager Tessa Lukehurst and Coventry University Lead Joan Lockyer will be present to receive the coveted award at the EBN Congress which will take place in Guimarães, near Porto in Portugal on Friday 30th September. TRADEIT will also have the opportunity to speak to fellow delegates and visitors to the congress, pitch their idea in detail and gain access to tailored support services including innovation centres, incubators, accelerators, living lab experts and investors.

TRADEIT is also being awarded for a publication it produces in partnership with the European Federation of Food Science & Technology (EFFoST) called “Taste of Science” which aims to demystify food science for small / medium scale producers.
