Careers Fair 2016
On the 3rd February, CU Coventry hosted its very first Careers and Employability Careers Fair. With class times amended for the day, students were able to visit the fair to listen to a variety of talks, mingle with employers and exhibitors and pop in to CV workshops.
Marketing and Events Officer, Jo Sharp, hailed the fair as a success:
“With over four hundred students in attendance, it’s clear this is the type of event our students are looking for. With this is mind, we’ve already begun to make plans for another Careers Fair next academic year.”
Careers and Employability Manager, Aysha Abdullah, hopes the students have benefitted from the fair:
“With such a wide range of employers and opportunities available, I hope the students are making the most of the day , gaining knowledge and making connections which may lead to future employment.”
