Next week (Tuesday 17 and Wednesday 18 October) we will be with more than 100 exhibitors at the World of Learning Conference and Exhibition at the NEC, Birmingham.
The Coventry University: The Nationwide Apprenticeship University stand is in the Apprenticeship Zone, specially created last year with help from the Coventry University Group to provide a one-stop shop for organisations who want to know more about apprenticeships and the Apprenticeship Levy. Now that the Levy has started (from April this year), many Levy-paying organisations are keen to know how they can invest it in training and assessment of apprentices.
From January 2018, non-Levy paying organisations will be able to get 90% of the cost of training and assessment of apprentices funded by the government – 100% in some cases. They, too, are interested to find out how this can help them upskill existing employees and attract and retain the best talent.
A programme of speakers in the Apprenticeship Zone throughout the two day event will cover a variety of apprenticeship – related topics. Our own Apprenticeship Manager, Kerry McGreavy, will be speaking on Tuesday at 12 noon on Maximising Stakeholder Opportunities in Apprenticeships.
Entrance to the World of Learning conference exhibition is free. Come and talk to us on Stand H10 for information on our range of Higher and Degree Apprenticeships, which are tailored to the culture and business requirements of individual employers. We can also advise on the latest information regarding the Apprenticeship Levy and how to get the best from it, whether or not you are a Levy payer.

This enables them to tailor delivery to the needs of each group, helping them achieve success.
Our staff will be on the stand throughout the show to answer your apprenticeship questions and provide information on our unique blend of learning delivery methods, including face-to-face group sessions and one-to-one coaching as well as online learning and self-directed study.
